Abdullah
Khorami, Chief Business Officer (CBO) of Salam, delivered a keynote speech at
Huawei Connect 2025 in Shanghai, during the Government Public Services
Digitalization session.
His
remarks highlighted Salam’s pivotal role in advancing Saudi Arabia’s Vision
2030 through its strong backbone infrastructure, expansive fiber network,
nationwide 5G coverage, and its portfolio of eight key solutions—Connectivity,
Cybersecurity, Hosting, Professional Services, Managed Services, Enterprise
Applications, AI, and 5G Solutions.
A
centerpiece of the speech was the successful joint validation of Salam and
Huawei’s SD-WAN solution with a leading Saudi government entity, showcasing the
delivery of secure, resilient, and agile connectivity that enables smarter
public services. Khorami also emphasized the partnership’s achievement in
building one of the Kingdom’s most advanced MPLS networks, serving enterprise
clients with robust backbone capabilities, seamless traffic management, and
optimized performance.
In
his remarks, Khorami stated:
“I
extend my gratitude to the Salam team, whose expertise made these milestones
possible, and to our customers and partners for their trust. From fixed to
mobile infrastructure, we are turning ideas into real impact. A notable example
is the SD-WAN deployment for a major Saudi government customer during the 2025
Hajj season, where sites were seamlessly connected and tested, now progressing
toward full commercial success.”
He
concluded:
“Most
importantly, I dedicate this recognition to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. It
demonstrates what can be achieved through vision, innovation, and
determination. Salam will continue to invest, innovate, and play a central role
in shaping the future of ICT.”
The address reaffirmed
Salam’s leadership in driving digital transformation in Saudi Arabia and
underscored the power of strategic partnerships—like Salam’s collaboration with
Huawei—in shaping the future of government and enterprise digital services.
